The Renovation

This project involves the restoration of a heritage-listed place dating back to 1890. The extensive restoration work was a significant endeavour, resulting in a remarkable transformation that the project team takes great pride in.

The entryway, once in a state of disrepair, has been beautifully rejuvenated. Solid plastering has been applied to the previously dilapidated walls on either side, giving the area a sturdy and authentic ambience.

The architectural elements, including two well-designed arches by Rob and one of modern steel construction, have been meticulously integrated. Collaborating with Homeroom Studio, the team has crafted a minimalist and aesthetically pleasing design for the door and its colour scheme.

Throughout the rest of the house, the restoration was guided by the client’s emotional attachment to the original house plans, ensuring the preservation of its sentimental value.
